The YourVersion team has been hard at work cooking up sweet updates for all of our apps! With the new iPad 2 and the slew of Android Tablets that are launching, we want to make sure everyone using a tablet or their smart phone can access YourVersion on-the-go. If you have a smart phone or an even smarter tablet, then YourVersion’s got an app for that!
We’ve released four new app updates for Android Tablets, Android Phones, iPads and iPhones. Here’s a quick run down:
-Our new Android Tablet app v1.2 update has been built for Android OS 3.0 (Honeycomb) and improves the screen layout for Android tablets with screen sizes larger than 1024 x 600 pixels. (This includes the new Motorola Xoom and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1) We also support the 7″ Samsung Galaxy Tab. Download the free YourVersion Android tablet and try it for yourself!
-The new iPad v2.0 app update has our new Quora channel, your list of stories loads more quickly and we added some great looking toolbar button icons on the story screen. Try the v2.0 YourVersion HD app and let us know what you think!
-The new iPhone v2.2 app is loaded with our new Quora channel to see the latest questions and answers on topics you care about and our Videos channel to see the latest, relevant videos by your specific interests. In addition, your list of stories loads more quickly and we improved toolbar button icons on the story screen. Finally we verified compatibility with iOS 4.3.
